Carl Palmer is a writer of stories as well as poetry. He
considers himself a hobby-writer, writing about life moments and
observations along the way. “Getting it down on paper, in a
magazine or on the web, makes it indelible. I can live forever
through my writing. I guess we all want that; to leave a mark.”
Carl Palmer has participated in many open mike readings
throughout the Puget Sound region. He is a member of Puget Sound Poetry
Connection, Tacoma Writers Club, Tacoma Writers Roundtable,
Dream Weavers, and of course
Striped Water Poets.
“What tickles me most is seeing one of my stories in print
from another part of the world,” Carl admits. He has had
works published in England, Scotland, Germany, India, Algeria,
Australia, Canada and the United States. Some of Carl's works
have been published into Arabic, Hindi and French.
